Dear People I Graduated High School With,

    Stop getting engaged!
    Love,
    Jill.

    Universal Truths

Since I had some free time, and I love lists. Thanks to Brandy for the idea.
    1)    If you don’t have a list, you will undoubtedly bring home more than you went for
    2)    Pancakes taste better at a restaurant
    3)    Candy corn always seems like a good idea until you eat it.
    4)    The more you worry about [...]

Is that Swamp Thing? No. It’s Jill.

Ok, so I’m going to work on multi-tasking while I write this.
I have things to do, like study and read Jane Austen. And, um, create mix cd’s for my upcoming New Mexico trip. You know, stuff of incredible importance, thus this will probably be short. Or, depending on how long it takes for my face [...]

    Christmas, as promised.

I’m not a big Christmas person.
I think it’s over commercialized and a big waste of money. I’d rather buy my friends and loved ones gifts during the year, when I find something I know they’d love (and I do), than be forced to because of some holiday tradition. But. It’s not a huge problem. I [...]

    Just A Bit

Alright so there are a few things worth noting tonight before I hit the sheets.
First of all I’m officially signed up for the Spring Break 2009 trip. It’s 1700, for airfare, accommodations for 10 days, a guide, all transportation, two meals a day, and three credits! Oh yea, and it’s to Paris, Rome, Milan, and [...]

    From Athlete to Coach

I am embarking on a very new expedition.
I am becoming an assistant coach for my old high school rifle team.
The rifle team at my Alma mater is more than just a sport to me, it’s a family dynasty. My mom is the head coach of the team and has built up a great program in [...]

The Big 0-1 and other dating stories.

I recently celebrated my first, first anniversary in dating history. Which is a much bigger deal to me than it probably should be.

    Yay Thursday!

I am so looking forward to tomorrow. My favorite day of the week has always been Thursday, first because I had gymnastics on Thursdays when I was in elementary school, and then because I had gymnastics and ER was on, and now, well, because it’s habit.
And because Grey’s Anatomy is on.
    And because it’s Thirsty Thursday.

    A few things worth noting

#1) Ani Difranco announced her winter tour, Friday I’m buying tickets to the Ithaca show, I’m so excited!
#2) I’ve updated my 101 about me page, numbers 1-89 are now up.
#3) I found this great blog detailing one bloggers journey through the babysitter’s club books! Hysterical. I loved those books when I was young, I started [...]

    IrishChic626, if you’re wondering

Wow, talk about a walk down memory lane. I just finished reading my old xanga. Haha. Wow. It was interesting, there are entries that talk about things I’ve completely forgotten, but then there are others that I can remember the exact thought process that was going through my head at the time.
