Christmas, as promised.
I’m not a big Christmas person.
I think it’s over commercialized and a big waste of money. I’d rather buy my friends and loved ones gifts during the year, when I find something I know they’d love (and I do), than be forced to because of some holiday tradition. But. It’s not a huge problem. I like to shop, and I love when I find that perfect present for someone on my list. And, I LOVE making lists. I also like presents
So without any further hesitation I present to you, my kind-of realistic christmas list:
Dry shampoo
Philosophy’s “Grace” Roll on perfume (actually I should see if I like the scent, I just really want a solid/roll on/purse-safe perfume and I thought wearing something called “Grace” would be good for me)
More socks like the ones I wore Monday
A box of 96 Crayola Crayons. Heather had a pack in elementary school and I was always jealous.
A personal guru to teach me about personal finance things (like investing, budgeting, etc), or, you know, a book or two on the subject.
Love, Actually
Knocked Up
6 more hours in the day
a george foreman grill
a brita pitcher and filters
a hand written love letter
a new purse
a pleasant surprise
another jack vettriano calendar
a new, classically, stylish wardrobe
novels: Pillars of the Earth, Signed MataHari, and the rest of my amazon wish list.
A kayak (see above wish list)
Deep, bright, purple nail polish
Deep, bright, purple pashmina
Something deep, bright purple
Silver nail polish like alex has
Perfect hair
Satin sheets and pillow cases (I’ll settle for just pillow cases right now)
The ability to time travel
Tickets to a concert featuring Alanis, Ani and Regina.
Tickets to any of the above.
A 24 inch waist.
Banana bread
Banana bread that gives me a 24 inch waist.
A self cleaning apartment
Happy Thursday!

Ohh I liked this. I think I need ‘banana bread that gives me a 24 inch waist that doesn’t have gluten in it’. If you get this, or now of how I can get this, pass it my way okay?? And the hand written love letter?
Yeah. I could use that.
