    Christmas, as promised.

I’m not a big Christmas person.
I think it’s over commercialized and a big waste of money. I’d rather buy my friends and loved ones gifts during the year, when I find something I know they’d love (and I do), than be forced to because of some holiday tradition. But. It’s not a huge problem. I […]

    Just A Bit

Alright so there are a few things worth noting tonight before I hit the sheets.
First of all I’m officially signed up for the Spring Break 2009 trip. It’s 1700, for airfare, accommodations for 10 days, a guide, all transportation, two meals a day, and three credits! Oh yea, and it’s to Paris, Rome, Milan, and […]

    From Athlete to Coach

I am embarking on a very new expedition.
I am becoming an assistant coach for my old high school rifle team.
The rifle team at my Alma mater is more than just a sport to me, it’s a family dynasty. My mom is the head coach of the team and has built up a great program in […]

The Big 0-1 and other dating stories.

I recently celebrated my first, first anniversary in dating history. Which is a much bigger deal to me than it probably should be.

    Yay Thursday!

I am so looking forward to tomorrow. My favorite day of the week has always been Thursday, first because I had gymnastics on Thursdays when I was in elementary school, and then because I had gymnastics and ER was on, and now, well, because it’s habit.
And because Grey’s Anatomy is on.
    And because it’s Thirsty Thursday.

    A few things worth noting

#1) Ani Difranco announced her winter tour, Friday I’m buying tickets to the Ithaca show, I’m so excited!
#2) I’ve updated my 101 about me page, numbers 1-89 are now up.
#3) I found this great blog detailing one bloggers journey through the babysitter’s club books! Hysterical. I loved those books when I was young, I started […]

    IrishChic626, if you’re wondering

Wow, talk about a walk down memory lane. I just finished reading my old xanga. Haha. Wow. It was interesting, there are entries that talk about things I’ve completely forgotten, but then there are others that I can remember the exact thought process that was going through my head at the time.

    The Universe Demands New Mexico

Now, I’ve always been the type to believe that you can change your own destiny, but I’ve always given the universe the benefit of the doubt. Which is to say that I believe one shouldn’t overlook any options presented to you, but you have to be the one to make the decisions. I […]

    The Woes of Poetry

Imagine taking your baby, your cute cuddly new baby, and voluntarily throwing her to the sharks. This is what the world of publishing feels like to beginning writers.
